Union Honchos and Crony Capitalists in Attendance at Obama ‘Reform’ Speech

For the past year and one half, union bosses, political pundits, and politicians have decried the reign of greed and the evils of capitalism. Yesterday, as President Obama and his fellow Democrats lay siege to the financial sector for what Washington helped create, some 700 attendees attendees listened to his speech in New York.  Here’s a partial list (via WaPo):
  • Bob Diamond, Barclays
  • Paul Calello, Credit Suisse
  • Deborah Wright, Carver Bancorp, Inc
  • Barry Zubrow, JP Morgan Chase
  • Tom Nides, Morgan Stanley
  • Gary Cohn, Goldman Sachs

Funny thing is, there’s a lot of politicos, union honchos, bankers and cronies, but there does not seem to be a real capitalist among them.

“I bring reason to your ears, and, in language as plain as ABC, hold up truth to your eyes.” Thomas Paine, December 23, 1776
