SEIU Fails at Striking Boston’s Logan Airport: NO Interruptions Reported…

The Union of Purple People Eaters, more commonly known as the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) called a one-day strike at Boston’s Logan airport.

As strikes are meant to either shut down an employer’s operations, or cause enough ‘discomfort’ that the employer acquiesces to the union’s demands, the SEIU apparently struck out on achieving its goals. According to this newscast, there were no interruptions in service.

That seems to be the problem with unions everywhere, as striking doesn’t have the same power it once had, as striking workers like the SEIU’s airport cleaners are too easily replaced with people who will readily do their jobs.
